I had added a mature art section for those that wanted to commission that kind of art but I had to remove it right away because the mature tags that should have blocked underage viewers failed in a horrific way. Luckily I censored all my art myself but still, the suggestive poses are not for minors to see. So thanks DeviantArt for fucking that up. I'm going to have to figure out some other way to deal with those that want to commission that kind of art.

I'm out of money and barely working right now so even though I booked a hotel and bought my BronyCon badge I'm not 100% certain I'll make it since I don't have a plane ticket yet. I'm still working on a charity piece I want to do based on the artwork of Baron Engel's Applebloom.
The idea is to forge a scale model of that scythe in the picture and include the original hand drawn piece of art with the hand forge scythe and hopefully get Michelle Creber to sign both pieces as well.

I should not be the most normal person in my family. It's like everyone around me is nuts and weird and I'm like, "holy shit! Why are you people so nuts and weird?!" I really need to start avoiding family gatherings up here.
Painting...
I've tried to paint with conventional paint and found that my personal digital technique of painting does not work. This really upsets me because I suck at painting and really want to make a one of the kind handcrafted painting. I've even noticed that drawing on paper is harder since I've gotten so used to being about to digitally edit and use special tools to craft lines. I would love to figure out a way to create a print of my art on 40 inch canvas and sign and number them. It would also be nice to get a print made that I can do finishing touches on making it an original piece painted in part by hand.
Getting on EQD
It feels weird finally getting my art on EQD again and seeing the flood of people show up and like my art. It's like the old days when I was getting 162 likes on a cheesy piece of fan art but back then fan art was still in the infancy stage and there were so many enthusiastic bronies hungry for any kind of art of their favorite ships or best ponies. So now, years later, to even get to stand amongst the greats like Tsitra360, Pixelkitties, Assassin Monkey, Baron Engel, tetrapony... Shit the list goes on forever there are so many amazing artists out there. But yeah, to stand amongst them, even in the shadows, is a joy.

Good luck with that. Deviantart hasn't been a good place for mature artwork in years, and I have yet to see a truly "general purpose adult art" gallery website spring up. The closest is Pixiv, but it has distinctly japanese rules and can feature subject matter some people would be uncomfortable hosting their own artwork in proximity. The trend I'm seeing is Twitter, Telegram, and Discord, none of which are good gallery platforms but do work well as publishing services. If adult artwork wasn't so grossly stigmatized in western cultures, we'd probably have better options at this point.
